Somehow, this slid right past me. Grand Rapids (Mich.) Forest Hills Central 4-star power forwardXavier Tillman will take an official visit to Gainesville next month.
Kudos to Mike White and his staff for getting a visit. When we last spoke with Tillman we came away feeling that a visit to Gainesville was not a given and that his pecking order was Marquette, Purdue and Michigan State.
Additionally, while one family member prefers Florida for Tillman, multiple sources have told us that a family situation is likely to keep him close to home.
Perhaps the visit can change things, but Marquette having the final visit is a concern.
