...sprained his right knee Tuesday night during Tampa Prep's Regional semifinal game against Seffner Christian. Originally a source told me that it was a "mild" sprain", less than 24 hours later I was told that Durham was going to get X-Rays and a MRI. My source said that it "didn't look good" and that yesterday's Tampa Prep practice was like a "funeral"
At this point there has been no official word on the results of the MRI. Juwan, his mom and dad, his coach and my source have all gone dark.
However, the head coach for Juwan's Team Breakdown AAU team has reached out to another player to attempt and recruit him to join Breakdown. This player was completely unaware Durham was injured and reached out to me to say that the coach told him that Durham may not be able to play in the spring.
Juwan Durham is a skilled 4-star power forward who likes Florida (and his mom loves Billy Donovan). As I get more info I'll post it here. I'm not Tweeting anything until I hear from either Juwan or his mother.
