6. Florida Fans

Florida fans, in the first year under Jim McElwain, got a taste of success, as the team won the SEC East and finished with 10 victories. But between Will Grier’s suspension and the way the year ended, it wasn’t all good in Gainesville. If Florida can take the next step this year, they’ll have a rabid fan base on their hands.

Of course, the main question is who is going to play quarterback for the team. Grier, after a PED-related suspension, has transferred. Treon Harris is moving to a different position. That leaves Austin Appleby, Feleipe Franks, Kyle Trask and Luke Del Rio to compete for the job. If the eventual winner can improve Florida’s woeful offense, the Gators could have something special.

Florida is one of the hardest places to play in the nation. If the program can return to the glory days of the Urban Meyer era, their fans will be even harder to deal with on game day.
