Football Jack Sawyer

The big Buckeye Edge, all 6-4 260 lbs. of him, clobbered Quinn Ewers, knocked the ball loose, snagged it and ran hard 83-yards to secure Ohio State’s 28-14 win.

Sawyer looks a lot like former Gator Jack Pyburn. Sawyer is not only a better player than Pyburn, but his all-out love for the Buckeyes and Ohio State just poured out. He represents what we believed about our Jack. Still breaks my heart that he bolted for LSU.

In this era in which too often loyalty is being bought out by big money demands and greed, Jack Sawyer was refreshing. The kind of competitor that reminds us why we love college football.

Hopefully Myles Graham, LJ McCray, and several other young Gators are the kind of Gators who stay the course.

Football Are we doing enough...

To promote Lagway? Is it the University or the UAAs job or is it Lagways himself? I read an article where Travis Hunter didn't even take $$ from his collective and actually donated to the Colorado collective to help pay his teammates salaries. He just used his endorsement deal money for himself. My question is are we promoting him enough? Does he even like the spotlight? Seems like if we can help land Lagway some endorsement deals it would free up money from the collective. Is Gatorade or the Jordan brand involved? Maybe Raybans since we are in Florida...

Football Great News

I am beyond excited to finally join the club of Gator Football Season Ticket Holders!!! As a frequent game attendee, especially Growl, with my boys when they were pre school (many moons ago), family, work, time, & coaching became priorities subjecting me to the Boob Tube for my "fix". With the Boss's  approval, I pulled the trigger on 4 tix. Overwhelmed at the ability to make this purchase and join my Gator Brothers & Sisters in God's Country more often in the Fall.

Go Gators!!!

College Playoffs 2024-2025

The rankings don’t determine the matchups for the Playoff, though. Here’s how the teams stack up when it comes to who they’ll play in Rounds 1 and 2:

Football Projected 2025 Two Deep as of 12-29-24

I think we will add a few more transfers to fill out the roster in the spring but going into 2025 I think we have a VERY good roster with a strong core returning from the 2024 season. It will be hard to build quality depth with the portal so your true freshman need to be ready to take snaps if injuries happen. Several of our true freshman will get meaningful snaps next year.

Joel Ervin Breaks down Florida Junior Day.

Joel Ervin 2026 Offensive Tackle

"The overall experience was great the whole day was good. The basketball game, touring the facility, and seeing the stadium were great. The first coach to greet me was Coach Jack Hunt. He takes care of recruits. He greeted me and kept in contact with me while I was on the road, as did coach Rob Sale. The vibes were great, and the other recruits talked about how their recruiting process was going. What was going through my head was just seeing what I missed the first time up there and teaching from Coach Sale and Decoster. Things are good with UF. We're definitely going to get up there after the dead period and get up to some spring practices."

He was on campus last weekend.

Have seen a couple of recent tweets from “The Swamp” twitter account which claims to be the official social media page of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium…

All appear pretty cryptic and non-descriptive so could be a big nothing-burger from a troll burner or someone trying to build up some suspense/interest to kickoff talking season…lol anyways figured I’d ask the most reliable source of collective insider information & access out there if anybody had any new news on the stadium project that they were at liberty to share or updates to the swamps extreme home makeover lol.

Go Gators! 🐊
