In the end, I think I’m a republican because of Reagan. I was a young kid when Reagan was president. I remember debating my dad about how Reagan was better than Carter. My dad was a southern Democrat, and this was actually the last election he got devoted in. You voted for Carter.
A lot of fond and yet hard memories thinking about Reagan and Carter. I lost my dad way too young.
