I have thrown in the towel.

If Texas seceded, and Russia began funding Biolabs in Texas (considering we just came out of a Pandemic). And Russia and it’s allies were discussing expansion into Texas. And it was found out that Russia had been funding experimental work in other labs that lead to said Pandemic, do you think the US would just be like….No worries, we all good here Texas/Russia. Or, do you think the warmongering elected officials would try to take Texas back?

Want to help other countries? Let's solve all our problems first. Or at least enough of the major ones so that it makes sense to divert our precious resources to other countries. And when we do, let's give to countries who have aided us as well.

This idea of throwing blank checks at other nations that never lift a fingernail to help the US doesn't help the citizens there or here. It hurts both countries and enriches the politicians running both countries.
