Of course you would.
The fact is, TPD has been exposed for covering up crimes for FSU ATHLETES, not the general Tallahassee population. TPD has its problems, but they are completely separate from this willful complicity in covering up misdeeds by FSU athletes.
Multiple sexual assault investigations not followed-through with
Hit&run on a suspended license, totaling two cars - no DUI check or arrest, and the report lost in a "computer glitch"
Multiple Domestic Violence incidents with no arrests
Citations for theft when arrests were warranted
Player named as "associates" of armed robbers, case still open
Player named as "associates" of men threating neighbor with gun, case still open
Funny how all this seems to have started just as FSU was getting better again. What happened to the days of parking tickets for being in a disabled space(Rix, Cowart, Wadsworth), picking up undercover hookers(D. Gibson), getting tazed by the cops(Meeks, Nicholson) or being wacked out on drugs in the street(Sexton, J. Jones)? I mean, we heard all bout that stuff, and it doesn't even rise to the level of sexual assault, robbery or gun play. Meanwhile, players at other schools fart funny and get arrested and it makes front page news.
But I'm sure TPD just started doing this for no apparent reason(like tutors and teachers just started doing players' work and setting up sham classes for no apparent reason, LOL)
Yeh, ignore FSU's role here. Of course that's what you guys want.
Too bad, this isn't going away.
