Didn't Tim drag him out of a bar fight once? sadgator can't remember ever reading anything about their relationship, but imagines they must have been close at a point.Originally posted by grommit:
I don't remember him having any kind of relationship with Tebow, or did he?

I'm not on the jury, I have no problem presuming his guilt...I could be wrong, but he looks guilty as hell to me....Originally posted by grommit:
This is all assuming Hernandez is guilty. He has yet to have his day in court and has yet to be convicted of a single thing by the USA, but the public by and large has already prejudged him, just like they did with Casey Anthony and that Trayvon guy.
They were roommates one year.Originally posted by grommit:
From what I remember, Hernandez pretty much kept to himself for the most part. He DEFINITELY did in the NFL. The patriots all agreed he never talked to anyone in the locker room or was pals with anyone on the team.

Casey Anthony? How about OJ? Casey told so many lies to this day even her lawyer does not know what happened. Give him credit for putting (reasonable?) doubt in the minds of the jurors but don't think that means she is innocent of the death or disposal of her daughter.Originally posted by grommit:

yeah, but it has to irk you that he camps out with the OSU side.Originally posted by WOLVERNOLE:
To answer the question (we are all guessing here), I can imagine them still being in contact. If they are, I would not think anything less of Tim Tebow. In fact, it really would be quite like him to continue to reach out to Hernandez. I really admire Tebow. He is as good a human being as he was a football player. Seems like he always strived for excellence in both.
Meh...I'd say it has more to do with Urban Meyer than it does OSU.Originally posted by passoverGator:

Given what the judge has thrown out and the fact they have no murder weapon and three possible shooters, I wouldn't be surprised if Hernandez walks on the murder charge and gets convicted on the other gun charges. The other possibility is that the jury doesn't care who actually shot him and convicts him anyway because it looks like he was obviously involved.
My cousin was sent away for a similar premise. They couldn't prove who was driving. Three buddies got into a truck and one died. All three were drunk. The jury didn't care who was driving. The state went after my cousin. The jury convicted him and went home to eat dinner. He got 18 years. All three were thrown from the truck so there was no way to tell who was driving after it crashed.Originally posted by Buddy Green:

I agree with SwampMaster that it is NOT an OSu thing. He appreciates and has an obvious affiliation with his former coach, Meyer, which I can respect. So the answer is no, it does not irk me. LOL, I probably have more respect for Meyer than the average Gator fan. I mean the guy accomplished so much at UF and what he has done, and particularly engineered at OSu this year is remarkable. People can try and criticize this and that about their football program, but they came through.Originally posted by passoverGator:

If there is one thing the J. Winston thing has reinforced in me, is to remember as grommet wrote, "he has yet to have his day in court."Originally posted by Nolez29:

Guilty before innocent.
I can totally see something like this going on. A lot of guys in prison did horrific stuff when they were young, and then got religious after a few years behind bars.Originally posted by djegators:
Knowing Tebow, I could see him reaching out in attempt to minister to Hernandez.....be surprised if Hernandez gave a chit....
Trials don't always do that great a job of it, either.Originally posted by Gatordun:

Every jury is different you never know what they are going to do.
The one thing that I have learned from all of the trials over the years is that the media doesn't do the best job of getting us the truth.
