sadgator can go either way...Van Haggar????? Blech, give me Van Halen.
When I saw VH for the 1984 tour, they opened the show with Unchained. Total kick-ass song....

It seems impossible that ukalum has that few posts....Have you seen your post count(the 3 sixes) as 5/6/2019 at 10:35AM?
Better bump off the number of the beast.![]()
Lol, did Box hit a nerve? Someone is getting emotional and theirSTFU & GTFO with that crap....
Damn!
Ouch.Well, I’m not like Ghost who seems to post random streams of conscience thoughts on this board around the clock.
How did you even remember to find this thread?!?!?
What's even more sad, no pun intended, being 65 years of age is not really old in this day and age. People are living much longer into their 90's as well as some surviving past 100, especially witnessing men and women into their early to late 70's participating in the annual River Run in Jax(about 9.3 miles). I hate to admit it, but there were some of those old ass men and women I wanted to trip up just for passing me like I wasn't even moving. How did you even remember to find this thread?!?!?
It’s hard to put into adequate words how much sadgator loves that band. Every variation...every album...their sound was so unique, and there is no other band that brings out such fun feelings... Eddie was a genius, and sadgator is very sad about this...it sucks getting old...enjoy every day...enjoy every moment...
@ukalum1988 I had a chance to hang out with Van Halen back in the 70's just before they really made it big. They came to our town for an outdoor concert using two flat bed trucks. After the concert they all just sat around on the trucks and chatted with folks like regular folks themselves, drinking and having a good time. My friend who went told me how cool it was. I still kick myself in the butt for listening to my big brother who said they suck and wouldn't give them the time of day. I had to be like big brother and not go. I still have that scar of regret in my mind and bitterness toward my brother. (I know... Let it go... let it go...)What's even more sad, no pun intended, being 65 years of age is not really old in this day and age. But damn! It's a sad day just hearing about Eddie.
Seen them twice with Sammy, never with DLR.One of the great regrets of sadgator’s life is that he never got to see either version of Van Halen live.
If you are an American male and you don’t have an appreciation for Van Halen, you should not be allowed to produce offspring.
