Solid coach. Experience at both a lower profile school and now a lower profile but bigger conference school. Tennessee certainly a step up, although, at this moment, if I were him, I would wait on something better. Iowa State would be a decent place to remain over Knoxville. Maybe see if TXAM or the like contacts.

It has a lot more to do with Character building, toughness, and accountability than X’s and O’s. Championships aren’t won on the whiteboard in the coaches office. At some point this fan base will learn that. Our players and this program lack character, integrity, and toughness in a major way. That’s why we lose.

I agree. But you do need both. Muschamp I think had good character and was a tough guy. But he couldn’t get out of his own way on offense.

And it’s probably a lot easier to make the type of athlete that goes to Iowa State buy into “character and integrity” as the key to winning than it is at a major program.

Muschamp has potential to be a solid coach. I think he just wanted to win with defense alone......maybe to prove something. Now he knows better. Wish we hadn’t been his guinea pig.

If anywhere may be a good fit for him, it may be Tennessee.

He’s just not at all the kind of coach we need at Florida right now.
