As President Biden readies to give his inaugural "Investment in America" tour speech Tuesday, one former White House economist torched the president for touting "utter economic lies."
"They said that we're shepherding a manufacturing boom. Well, actually, if you look at manufacturing data, it's down 1% relative to last year. Like that's a boom?" Hassett criticized.
"And if you look at the regional Fed indices," he continued, "they're down 20% in manufacturing right now where zero is level. So the point is that manufacturing is collapsing in the U.S., and Joe Biden’s saying that he's investing in America and he's just not doing it."
Hassett further argued the lies are spread across the Biden administration, noting how Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s recent claim of historic economic recovery ignores the "calamity" of excessive spending interest rate shock.

If you wanna have a gun or three I’m okay with that. It’s your right and your business. But this thread is about wind power - and the hypocrisy of that is the turbines which are STILL unreliable, made of materials that always will involve some use of fossil fuels, have disposal issues that concern the EPA, and kill otherwise protected species of birds by the hundreds of thousands every year.

This is not about sides..it is about what someone who is scared of guns will do when their family is threatened(which I honestly hope NEVER happens to you, or anyone I know) You seem to think you have all the answers on guns. WHAT WOULD YOU DO, Theo? Have you thought this out this far...or guns scare you so much you are now realizing your plan has some huge holes in it?
I choose NEVER to have this happen to me or my family. My house would be a VERY, VERY bad house for someone to try to enter without permission! LOL (I will just leave it at that)

We've had this discussion on here before. Honestly it sounds a little bit worse than was predicted.
Yes, predicted...meaning we knew this before we spent money on it. Without subsidy, and without attacks on carbon based energy, wind is not viable. Hell it appears that it isn't viable with subsidy and those attacks.
IMO, it's probably quasi-viable on wind swept plains and on similarly windy coastlines...but based on some of the data I've read, perhaps not even there.
