Why would he leave the NFL for what could very well be a one season job.

He's a college coach who spent 1 year in the NFL. Some coaches find that's not there cup of tea and want to go back to college - Nick Saban, as an example. Harris was a great DB coach at Washington. Hopefully, he'll be the guy we need at UF.

His record was really good at Washington. His GSU stint was not good, and this year he's an Asst DB coach, so who knows how much influence he truly has. If he can recruit that is priority one. I think the kids will like his nfl experience.
