Who gets the start at TE if Pitts can't go?

Probably Gamble as he could both block and catch.
However, I think both will play.

I think Zipperer is the better receiver of the two. And since Pitts isn’t asked to block as much as most tight ends I would say he would probably fill the role a little better.

Like with all other positions, they will rotate the guys in the game.
The starter is whichever one performs best in practice this week.

Ole '4th and Dumb' in desperation, decided to trade Cline for Pitts,,, 'dirty bastad' that he is.

"That is worthy of multiple game suspension," Kanell said in a tweet. "Just flat out dirty."

Just 5 games into the season, Pitts already holds the 'UF record (8) for TE TD Receptions in a Season.' The 6-foot-6 Pitts has emerged as a top player in college football with 24 receptions for 414 yards (17.3 average) and 8 TD's through his first 5 games. Despite losing Pitts, Trask did not miss a beat as the Gators rolled for 571 total yards.

OMG, the Gators are doomed because of Kyle Pitts injury,,,, o_O
or maybe not... ;)

So, of course you'd miss a receiver of the quality of Pitts, but it's not like the cupboard is empty without him. Others will step up... 🤓

Yes, others will step up. But we need him back. He distorts defenses. When teams have to double cover the TE, either others are running free or there is nobody at home to stop the run. Pitts makes a very good offense great.

It's funny when you get snarky like this, because you obviously don't read your own posts.

Still Butt-hurt that the Eagle Scout has shown you up for the clueless, prejudiced, ignorant twit that you've always been, and your poor daughters mother finally saw you for and wisely bailed out on....
(now back on ignore, where useless clueless twits belong)

I'm just wondering if his nose was part of that vicious hit he took.

I believe he got hit square in the face, so I expect his facemask broke his nose. Only reason to have nose surgery is that it's broken. Although I will hold out the (very remote) possibility that when he was examined the doctors found an extremely deviated septum and decided it needed to be fixed. I say remote because that would be something to fix after the season unless it was interfering with his ability to breathe to the point it interfered with his play. But surgery to realign a broken nose or to fix a deviated septum each take about 3 weeks to heal, and Kentucky would be 3 weeks after the injury, so it most likely is one of those two.

So in your own usual twisted opinions, calling someone a pea brain is a complement instead of a personal insult?
Maybe it's you and Dumb Dunnygoater that need to read your own posts....

You're going to attempt to diminish me by calling me "little Lizzy", I am going to do the same by calling you "pea brain". I gave you a free one, that was in response to your second attempt.

The Georgia guy's helmet hit Pitts right in the face/face mask. Most likely a broken nose.
