Where is AOC?

And why isn't she concerned about the spiraling conditions at the border in Biden's cages?

Facilities are now at 729% of their legal capacities. Kids get 1 shower every 7 days???

Why isn't AOC crying at the gate?

Because her dumb ass was acting in front of the cameras, it was her time to shine and the left ate it up.

Now, the left is getting what they want, millions of new voters.

I still can't believe Beijing Biden's humanitarian border crisis got a mention by Lester Holt of NBC Nightly News.

And who can believe Amerikan Pravda and the Coumosexuuals turning on Coumo?

The woke eat their own. That’s why identity politics is fun to watch because as we are called racist and any hating phobic phobe, they cat fight and try to cancel each other.

The left has no morals as their party continuously morphs into whatever the new trend is as long as there is some sort of power grab involved.

Why isn't she concerned about all the positive covid migrants who have snuck in to be put in buses to spread this virus to all parts of the country? Oh, this administration only wants to tell actual citizens what they must do. No wonder Biden doesn't want to take any questions. He couldn't care less about spreading Covid.

The more these people continue to lock down the country, the more power they have.

This would all end if every person ignored the mandates. Honestly, wtf are they going to do? Throw everyone in jail?

I'm all for better background checks. Nothing wrong imho with keeping the guns in the hands of sane gun owners. But beyond that, leave law-abiding, sane citizens TF alone.
Did you read the new background checks they want to impose? For example: If you lend a gun to a friend.

Yea, that's where it gets tricky.

IMO, and agree there is a loss of freedom here, that "loaning" a gun to a friend puts you on the hook if said person is not someone who is allowed to have one.

Second hand gun sales, citizen to citizen, can be managed through a background check with the local Sheriff's Department.

I don't like it...but I also don't like having to disarm an unstable person with a gun. I freely admit that my experiences sway my opinion.

I understand your opinion. But why would a person loan a gun to somebody that is unstable? For example. What if I loan a gun to my son and they find out its mine. How can I trust big city cops to trust my word? When you take common sense out of the law abiding citizens hands, we are asking for problems. I gave my son every weapon I own that wasnt registered because of where he lives. I kept all of my registered ones because it will take one hell of a fight around here to get them.

Stupid and irresponsible people do stupid and irresponsible things.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't be able to loan your gun to someone. I'm saying that we should all be responsible for who we loan them to. If you loan it to a convicted felon, you are guilty of a crime imho.

One of the scariest thing I've ever done (where no one got hurt) was disarming a former law enforcement officer who was having serious, diagnosable, health issues.

He had dozens of guns and that's fine...until he lost it. His wife called us and told us that she didn't think that he should have access to them anymore and she was right. The first gun I took from him was on his hip in a holster. Believe you me, that was a pucker factor moment.

It's a tough job. The really good cops think 2 or 3 moves ahead. That's very difficult when you add emotion into a situation.

Alot of times, obviously not always, when the public thinks the cop is "just being a dick," he's just concentrating on what may happen.

Of course sometimes he's just a dick. 😂

Unless you are in Orange County. Just assume all are dicks unless you get a break.

Here it is the State boys that are dicks. (Fancy sunglasses with shaved heads and all). Sit down with the Sheriff and City boys and have a laugh at them.

True here too, to a degree. They focus on traffic crap and working accidents. It takes a special type to even want to do that.

Not a criminal and I would pass a BGD check. But I may ask my dad to buy me some guns. All my weapons are unregistered and will remain unregistered regardless of any law. BGD checks and registration are steps to confiscation.

As for LEOs:

This weekend showed here in NSH that we have some serious issues we need to deal with in LE. An officer was shot and he killed his assailant . She was driving without a license and had weed. She was a petty criminal who had been driving without a license for at least a decade. She had a gun and shot the officer after he tased her and he returned fire killing her. He is stable.

Now I sit here and say I am glad he survived and she got what was coming to her for shooting at a cop. He was doing his job and I do not fault him. But I want reform and I want it on the the side of the citizen. If he had let the petty crook go both would be alive and he would not have been shot. Its time to de-escalate the traffic stop.

I want to end traffic cops doing anything more than asking for license registration and insurance unless the driver is reckless or impaired. I would even stop the insurance question.

Now the reason he pulled her over was that she was driving a car registered to a felon with warrants out. Once he determined that she was not the guy and no on else was in the car he should have let her go and not even asked her a single question. She had violated no apparent traffic law. Would she still be violating the law ? Yes because she is driving without a license, but he does not know that, nor would he, nor should he, because she had not given him probable cause. This is the type of reform I want. Maybe he tails her home and they catch the felon?

Now had she violated a traffic law then he would have ascertained she had no license. Now at that point my reform would say that he still can not search her belongings or the car. In fact my reform would ban all roadside searches and would require a warrant unless drugs or alcohol are in plain sight. I would get rid of drug dog roadside searches as well.

It is time to treat the car like a home.

JMHO but police reform is needed for better adherence to constitutional intent, to protect officers from petty thugs and petty thugs from crossing the line and getting themselves killed. The law was such that in this case he could NOT just let her go. We nearly had two people killed over a license and weed.

She's quietly reading up on Dr. Seuss's books to try and gain wisdom before demanding they are incinerated.

Sorry, I could not disagree more. For MANY reasons.

First off, we ask for the identification so we know who we are dealing with. That's just flat out for officer safety.

2nd, the law is not negotiable. You don't get to break the law because the situation might escalate as a result of law enforcement.

3rd, LEO's cannot search a car unless they a) have permission, b) have probable cause or c) have a warrant. Probable cause can be anything from a strong odor of weed emanating from the vehicle to seeing in plain sight something illegal in the vehicle...or maybe they actually admit something is illegal in the vehicle.

Many outstanding warrants are discovered by simply asking for ID as well.

You are kept safer, not less safe, by these practices.

The woman was a boneheaded idiot who got herself killed but up until then she was a petty criminal pothead. She had 7-9 busts for pot, driving without a license, one for indecent exposure and supposedly served 11/29 for only one of the offenses and never paid a fine she owed. Maybe the pothead was a threat to society but this stop ended up with her dead and a 14 year veteran cop shot and in the hospital. Is it really worth it to risk lives over these misdemeanors that even the court seems to do nothing about?

I am NOT for drug legalization as many are on libertarian side of the right. I am also not fond of militarizing the cops or using traffic stops as a fishing expedition. I am also against no-knock warrants or kicking down doors instead of waiting someone out. This was rare stuff in the 60s, 70s and even 80s. I think cops getting shot was rare back then as well. Hmmm?

Side note: Great Grandfather was murdered in the line of duty.

I have not shed a tear for the lady. Nor do I support defunding the police. Lets just get back to giving citations or warnings for traffic stops and not ask a lot of questions other than lic and reg please. The drug "war" has turned us into a warzone!

We are sh*tting our own nest.

Getting baxk to the topic of kids in cages (a horrible situation, of course), has anyone heard if Jen Psaki has been harassed while eating out in a restaurant over this?
Of course not, if she was harassed it would be called an insurrection against raggedy Anne and women. It will some how turn out to be a movement where red heads all over the world who identify as raggedy Anne feel that their voices can’t be heard and will demand reparations.

I agree in theory, and on the surface, it seems like the logical and prudent action. But when you peel back the layers of the onion's intent, you find some rotten core. The "who is deciding" one is sane and law abiding becomes the slippery slope to begin the slide down.
Some magistrate who found you posted on Facebook Governor Cuomo is a dick and needs to be culled from society? It worries me.

Fishing expeditions are specifically illegal though. I could go into detail what that means but I doubt anyone actually wants to read it.

I will say this....if that woman was crazy enough to shoot a cop during a traffic stop, she was a ticking time bomb and it was just a matter of time before she hurt someone or, more likely, killed someone because most people aren't armed or as prepared as that cop was.

Agree. If you have ever been probated, spent time in a mental health facility or you have a Domestic Violence charge PENDING (notice i said pending...once it's done it's done) then it is prudent imo.
