Yes, they're some stupid people. I'd caution holding on just a bit to see if they actually get charged with a crime, before doing anything. Some might consider holding off until they're proven guilty. At any rate there is no tolerance for riots.

Honestly I'm somewhat conflicted about the entire arrest but let off idea. Leaves me wondering; if they're arrested for rioting/destruction/looting I'd lean toward make an example and fully prosecute the crime. Maybe would cut down on future transgressions. Now if you aren't ever planning on prosecution, is it because there was not enough proof for it? Was it a nuisance arrest not allowing 1st amend rights?

We somewhat agree. There's no place for arrests if there's no intention to prosecute. Not all arrests pan out but if it's premeditated, that's an entirely different animal.

Fwiw, imho, there's plenty of video out there to prosecute these pinko-communist asshats for what they're doing to police, businesses owners, citizens and public property. I watched a "peaceful protester" full on Babe Ruth swing a club, striking a federal officer in his back, yesterday as he affected an arrest. That is assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer. With video that is a slam dunk prosecution.
