Let’s be honest...2020 has totally sucked...and this weirdo bizarro season isn’t the way we want it to be...but it could be a lot worse, and somehow, someway, we made it to a Gator game week!

As to the game...sadgator fears Baby Kif. People don’t give that sumbitch enough credit on the x and o side of things. Despite the “new system” and “lack of practice time” points people have raised, he’ll have that team ready to play. sadgator thinks it will be closer for a lot longer than people expect.

That being said, sadgator does honestly believe that the home teams are at a disadvantage with the COVID limitations. He’s observed this in many games played so far. sadgator thinks Dan will have Florida focused and ready to play as always...and they will pull away at the end...

Florida 31

Poor girl has no one to tailgate with...

We've got an experienced offense and Ole Miss had a bad defense last year, and nothing says it will be better this year. 38-17 good guys.

Ole Miss is unready for game action. They only know about 3/4 of the playbook, and haven't really mastered any of it. The defense is probably ahead of the offense, but expect them to stay in base most of the time, they haven't really had a chance to work out the details on that side either, so they will stay with the set with which they are most comfortable. Expect Florida to show no mercy, running a bunch of blitz packages to get guys running free at the QB, and bringing a lot of different looks on offense to create mismatches.

I see us up 31-7 at the half and putting in the backups in the 4th quarter, which will allow Ole Miss to put a couple late TD's on the board. UF 45-21.

Couple of us coaches are driving up Friday, what's some stuff to do in Oxford? Obviously you won't get the full effect with less fans & the Grove won't be packed...

38-17 us...we win by 3 TD's. I can't see them stopping us. Our defense will show up.

Took this off a scouting report I saw:

This season, his Rebels’ offensive line is younger than usual. With more than one freshman starting and offensive line veteran Eli Johnson opting out of the season, pundits across the SEC are unsure of how the core will perform on Saturday against Florida.

Multiple starting freshmen on the Oline, in a year when they had no time to work together? Against a team that likes to blitz from all angles and works to cause as much havoc as possible? We might get more sacks than the 10 we got against Miami last year.

I almost feel bad for them, it's gonna get so ugly. Almost.

We should roll with their defense being that young but you never know with these Mississippi games.

First road opener since 1987. Yes, I know, Michigan, but that was a neutral site game. Ole Miss that last time as well, and we lost. Vengeance is a dish best served cold. Really really cold.

I’m surprised Fever made a return. With all the success Mullen has had in his first 2 years it wasn’t fitting his narrative.

I will give Mullen his due when he wins something that really matters - like the SEC East to get in the SECCG. Should be in the driver's seat for that this season.
