We are gonna WIN the NIT!!!!!!!

Will anybody actually watch an NIT game if we're there? My focus is now only other Gator sports - gymnastics, baseball, softball, tennis, track & field, lacrosse. You know, all those UF programs that have recently won an SEC title and are regularly competing for one.

I didn’t watch many of the men’s bball games this year. Still a fan but not interested in watching that product anymore.

Same. Exactly same thing with me.

It’s so odd how indifferent I was this season. After we beat Auburn, I was actually mad. We have talent, but we don’t play to our capabilities? Huh?

The White era HAS to end.

Then there’s…Auburn. Talk about overrated. The SEC has one team in the sweet sixteen. LSU fired their coach right before the tournament, Alabama quit a month ago, Tennessee did their normal disappearing act, UK got plunked by a 15 seed. Imploded comes to mind.
Yep you can’t spin this. The SEC was obviously highly overrated and imploded. Was Auburn really that good? You start to look over their schedule and all they beat was a few overrated SEC teams and they lost too UCONN and even us.

And the stupendously overrated A&M.

The SEC is in bed with ESPN/ABC and they overhyped the league for TV ratings.

It certainly looks that way. I thought the league may be a little overrated and was maybe at least a good league but no it wasn’t a good look at all.

Overhyped? Yes. However, lets be honest, we aren't strangers or ignorant to the hype machine of the SEC.

"We" wanted the notion that the SEC has gotten better over the last several years to somehow lessen the blow of how badly UF has struggled. Its easier to accept a 19-13 record believing a "stronger" SEC......rather than an average, or even weaker, SEC this year.

Yep and as it turns out we went 19-13 overall and 9-9 in conference play in a weaker SEC. IMO it was a bad season.

Didn't the SEC do good in the regular season inter conference? Definitely had a bad tournament though.

Probably have to say the ACC is doing the best so far considering the number of teams that made it in and they have 2 higher seeds still alive. I don't think any favorite from the ACC has lost yet either.
