I say the offense looks like the offense has looked. A few brilliant plays here and there then it goes into Muschamp mode.

The defense looks like the defense of the first 14 quarters of the year and not the last two. They don't worry about ducks, trucks, U's, and all other BS.

Florida 27
Vanderbilt 6

Similar. I'd say 31-10 or so. It'll look pretty blah for most of it I'd guess until we wear them down.

They need to put last week behind they and play a dominant game. Not sure of the score, but we never play good at noon and Vandy will play hard, so sadgator is expecting to be disappointed in the performance.

That would have been true if we won at UT, but I expect UF to come out strong and play hard. UF 35 Vandy 10

No clue what to expect. Will they tuck tail and run or are they smart enough to realize winning out in conference play will most likely get them back to Atlanta. Can't let one quarter of bad football ruin your season.

Mason is a defensive coach. If he's watched the 4th quarter of the last game, I'd expect him to blitz on every possible passing play.... o_O

After looking at the listed depth chart for Vandy, I may have to just record it, and then watch it later (after several beers) on high speed replay....

I am sure he is smiling that Ivie is out and looking at the size of our D linemen overall also. He is just like Muschamp and will run straight Jumbo package if the normal offense isnt working. The same stuff we did to LSU and FSU in the 2nd half of those games in 2012.

lol..you might be right but Vandy isn't going to blow up our offense...IMO...we will win 42-9...they don't get into the end zone.

He shouldn't be smiling about anything, he lost to Muschamp. How in the hell are they going to score points?

Knowing Mason I wouldnt put it past him to just put the reserve linemen at the TE spots and run that against us later in the game to prove we can stop it. He has certainly done it before at Vandy and while maybe not Jumbo he just kept trying to run against WKY until just passing a little late in the game. He was grinning at his press conference talking about tenderizing a team to make it easier to run on them late in the game.

I hope you are right and we just shut them down like KY etc.

I might end up being wrong...and if so then I'll admit it but I don't think that our defensive is going to be nearly as cocky and loose as they were in the 2nd half of the last game.

If i made it through the choke at doak, the 95 NC game and last week games sober, I can make it through anything...my dad didn't fair so well during the first one when I was a kid, ive never seen him like that before nor since.. oh and I forgot the zook melt down against UM in 03... but last year I started drinking when I watched the games in the first half at the end of the season...

I just don't see how Vandy can move the ball consistently without of course the usual ref help calling us for everything after plays or PI's when they have no chance making it happen on their own. They are one dimensional, if we take an early lead there's no excuse not to make it get ugly. They have to score first somehow, but I honestly think we could pitch a shutout or damn close, we pretty much did last year besides one lucky play.. I expect Appleby to have another good game through the air, having Cleveland playing now will show up fast, that kid is a star in the making and we need to feed him the ball down the field because he is a serious vertical threat. I want to see the young guys get the ball more through the air. Swain is a very good route runner and has great hands, Hammond is pretty good too. I really don't know why Fulwood is still playing at this point unless he's blocking well but I haven't even noticed him at all. Scarlett was literally beasting in the first half he tossed one of their LB's off of him 5 yards in the air like Trent did at Bama type stuff. We have the guys to get it done on offense now, we just still have a spotty inconsistent OL.. We jut can't ever seem to have it all clicking for years and years. We have plenty of guys to spread the ball too and two very good pass catching TE's. There's no excuse not to win this game comfortably or we are just not very good.. Like I said you will know everything you need to know about this team and how the rest of the season will go by how they come out and play in this game and the LSU game. It's a better team than last year

When asked about preparing for which QB we may start Vanderbilt Coach Mason said it wouldn't really affect any preparations because Florida is pretty rigid in what it does on offense. We need to wipe that smirk off his face.

sadgator has a pet peeve about dudes who intentionally watch gator games in tape delay. It is bothersome to sadgator...be a man...watch live...put booze in your coffee.

I was at a museum during the first half of last week's game. I was able to make it to a Gators bar for the 2nd half, eager to have a couple of beers, watch us coast to a victory, and wake up in the morning to watch the 1st half.

I ended up having ~8 beers and hooking up with the 4.5/10 flight attendant who was sitting next to me at the bar.

4.5 beats a 4 anyday of the week.

Next time just hook up with a museum chick.

They usually are poor housekeepers but have s nice bank account.

You have amused sadgator with your tale. An interesting day you had...museums, bad football, and a flight attendant. There is a book in that.

sadgator is ashamed to admit that, for as much as he rags on everybody else, he actually watched the game in tape delay last week and didn't finish it until like 9 pm. No flight attendants were present thereafter, however.

Was he also a Gator fan?

Play them more:
DB Putu
TE Stephens
OG Sandifer
RB Perine
WR Cleveland (and give him a shot at PR'er instead of stinkaway)

And IF --- if you get a huge UK type lead, test out Trask.
His redshirt is the least important imo.

Yep, tennis-sea is well on their way to both the SEC-C and another NC.
(sometime in the next 20-30 years anyway)

And Congrats! You've now been correct once in the last dozen years... :D LMAO
