According to Putu, his plan right now is to be in Gainesville next Wednesday when players report for fall training camp. He said once NDSCS gets his summer credits on his transcript and UF gets a look at it, Florida should give him the OK to head to campus.
Putu is wrapping up his three summer classes, and he said he’s done really well in them (he could end up with three A’s). He plans to leave North Dakota and head to Palm Bay, Fla., on Friday to stay with a friend’s family - where he’ll stay until UF gives him the heads up to leave to campus. That's about a three-hour drive to UF.
