In fairness every decent team would like to see their team go up against them
Miami is poorly coached and very soft. Golden is just as bad as Muschamp. He's supposed to be defensive coach and their defense has been atrocious ever year he's been there.
For personal reasons that he cannot disclose, sadgator despises Miami more than any other program. For years, sadgator lobbied and looked forward to seeing Florida play Miami on a regular basis again.
However, after attending the last debacle South of the Border in 2013, sadgator has come to the sobering realization that we can never beat them consistently. They are the one school that just totally owns us. Moreover, the rivalry is just not pleasant, and the fans have a mutual disgust for one another. It is an evil and toxic atmosphere on both sides when the schools get together, much like parties who have been through a dysfunctional relationship and divorce. Add to that the fact that they refused to give us the canoe in 2008, which sadgator still views as a crime for which we should have punished them by not playing until it was rightfully returned. Quite frankly, sadgator will be fine if he never sees Florida play those play those wretched scoundrels again in his lifetime.
