UF owns the state, again #1 in license plates

I'm sure this is no surprise to anyone but speaks to the power of the University of Florida/Gator brand.

In terms of State of Florida specialty license plate sales, Florida is once again a clear #1. Who do you think is #2 and #3? It's not FSU, here are the rankings:

1. UF
2. "sea turtles"
3. "Endless Summer"
4. FSU (23% less than UF)
5. "Project Wild Dolphins"

U of Miami is 15th.
UCF is 20.

This speaks strongly to brand affinity. All advertisers and sponsors take note,.. where should you put your marketing dollars at?

Ironic as UCF has the largest # of students in the state. You would think there would be more of them and graduates to buy plates, or can they not afford them?
