UF - Iowa predictions

[Gator Fever]

I hate to say it and hope I am wrong but after watching Iowa in their recent games I think they will just outlast us and wear our defense down in the 2nd half by running it right up the gut on us. Their defense is pretty good lately so I doubt we get more than about 17 to 24 points and I think they score in the high 20s probably.

Dunno. Both these teams are missing lots of players so I guess it's the battle of the backups. Only thing I'm sure of is it'll be low scoring.

It will be close, and unwatchable. For all of you who think Mac deserves more time, as you watch today think about what you saw from teams like bama and Clemson. It's not just a personnel problem. There is NOTHING dynamic about the Florida offense

Looking at Iowa's schedule, the Hawkeyes are currently on a 3-game winning streak:
NE (40-10), IL (28-0), & Michigan (14-13).

Of Iowa's 4 losses, two have come against the following bowl teams:
Wisconsin (9-17), Penn St (14-41).

Florida is on another end of the year 2-game losing streak:
Alabama (16-54), FSU (13-31).
Florida's best wins have come against the following:
LSU (16-10), Georgia (24-10), Kentucky (45-7).

Florida has not scored 20 or more points since the South Carolina & Georgia games. This is also Florida's 5th neutral site/road game out of their last six games. If Florida can hold Iowa to under 20 points (<14 points) than the Gators have a chance for the victory; otherwise, I see the Hawkeyes winning it.

The Gator homer in me says Florida wins:

I predicted if Florida could hold Iowa to less than 14 points than the Gators will win. Also in this game, the Gators have scored more than 20 points for the first time in four games. So far so good, after that int TD return by Gardner, Florida is winning & looking good in the Outback bowl:

Where ever that kid is he's going to make plays...rather see him at corner...not a lot of guys can play on an island out there...either way that kid is a baller.
