Many kids have flirted with UF in order to get a bigger payday from UGaly or Bammer. Will wait and see on this one, but I've seen this story play out a few times.
The payday thing doesn't even make sense anymore.
They can just legally pay them.

I believe I was just saying that there are people here that keep acting like someone like Freeze or Kiffin are going to get us on probation, but my point being, since you do t need boosters sneaking around anymore to get players money, they can just pay them for their NIL, that is really a thing anymore.
Unless you're dumb. Because I think if you get caught doing it now, they'd probably actually penalize you for being an idiot.
My point is that these high end recruits have no real interest in us, we are being used as leverage to get a better deal. I don't really think the NIL matters for that.

Yeah I kind of figured that. And I agree, I think the high end recruits don't have much interest in us.
I think there's a couple of reasons for that. One being that they little kids when Urban was dominating for a few years...short memories...but more importantly, Dan and Mac didn't recruit well overall and Muschamp only recruited the defense very well (outside of Grier and Mac screwed that up royally).
it's really the only reason I'm okay with whatever this Napier thing is due to the...fact?....that he's a very good recruiter. If he will focus on recruiting and run the program while allowing coaches to do their job, then yeah, I'm fine with that.
