Wide receivers Tyrie Cleveland, Rick Wells, tight end Kemore Gamble and quarterback Emory Jones were also recommended to the Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution department for lying to university police about the incident in question, the report states.

University police discussed with Toney how dangerous the situation could have been, as a result of using the airsoft guns that appeared real. Toney replied that other guys try and pick fights with the football players when they go out into public, the report states.

Zachery was given a no trespass warning from all university property for a period of three years, the report states. After Zachery’s interview with university police, he posted on Facebook: “Damn the University of Florida got some b**** a** football players,” the report states....

According to a university police interview with UF tight end C’yontai Lewis, Zachery had a “good relationship” with Lewis “while the football team was winning, but when they began losing, “Tay Bang” would call them “garbage” and would complain about losing money after he bet on football games,” the report states.

Glad the cops didnt arrest them for an assault charge for displaying those things and it being on video. They might have when common sense wasn't used much a few years back.

I don’t care. Win.

This used to be my attitude, but so many of these kids just seem like giant jerk offs. It gets tougher and tougher to get behind them.

I have to concede that the Meyer teams were my favorite, and those guys were obviously a bunch of lunatics. At least do the winning first, and then get wrapped up in this nonsense.

Even gambler "Tay Bang" appeared to be losing it over the on the field performance of our Gators. I guess the article claims he got on facebook after being banned from campus and questioned their manhood as Gator players.

As bothersome as this entire story is, sadgator found this part pretty amusing...

“While searching for evidence, police didn’t find any bullets. However they did find a frying pan that, according to the report, was seen on camera being used by one of the athletes during the confrontation.”

We hope the pan was teflon.

If he was betting on Mac's Gators, he couldn't have been a very successful gambler.

As far as calling them "bitchasses," I don't think there's a lot of respect on the streets for guys that roll up with bb guns and frying pans.

I stopped caring a while ago. I know what the stereotype of football players is but there’s some truth to it, unfortunately. Then I remember all the dumb shit I did at that age and I just can’t be bothered with what they’re doing as long as it’s not rape, theft, assault, etc. All the other dumb students I couldn’t care less about.

3* Dan waking up the CUM echoes

That misnamed "Fulmer's Cup" ( Tennessee has NEVER won that "Award" ever since that Florida sports writer made it up) Is going to be renamed. ( Swampdonkeys lucked out last season as they would have been awarded the "Honor" but criminal charges were NOT issued until after the season started even though they got caught BEFORE the season began. They did get a "Special Award" though)

The Gator Grail

After last year's 11 or so using stolen Credit Cards and this 17 along with the earlier Girl strangler to go along with the 40 felonies committed by that one class of CUM..

Ole Dan is gonna need to read the Riot Act to all these fine upstanding Instantloon beloved players. Or Squire Johnson is gonna earn a pile of cash keeping enough players eligible to field a team.

RulesEdit
To be eligible for Fulmer Cup points, a player must, a) be on the program's roster (no alumni or verbal commitments,) and, b) commit the offense(s) during the off-season.

Points are assessed based upon the severity of each alleged offense, on a scale of 1 (for "drankin', suspended license, and assorted petty misdemeanors") to 5 for murder, and we assume, sassing Aunt Stabby. Points are accumulative, and thus a player who steals a pig (petit theft, 1 point) then a car (3 points,) sexually assualts said pig (beastiality, 4 points) before drunkingly wrecking the stolen vehicle (DUI, 2 points) would be assessed a total of 10 points. In said hypothetical scenario, it is assumed the player would cover the bond by hocking his 2007 national championship ring, and thus be out in time for his parish's Mardi Gras festivities.

Past WinnersEdit
2017 Alcorn State*[1]

2016 Colorado

2015 Rutgers

2014 Cal Poly

2013 Vanderbilt

2012 Arkansas

2011 Auburn

2010 Georgia

2009 South Florida

2008 Alabama

2007 Illinois

2006 Marshall

  1. 1
Florida did not place in the top 10 of last year's Fulmer Cup Standings, but did receive special mention for a scam that had not been criminally charged at the time the results closed.

Antonio Callaway, Keivonnis Davis, Richerd Desir-Jones, Jordan Smith, James Houston IV, Ventrell Miller, Kadeem Telfort In this team effort, 7 Florida players allegedly misused their student debit cards with scholarship funds provided to them by the school. Those players reportedly purchased electronics, then re-sold them, and attempted to claim the cards had been lost or stolen.

On September 25 the 9 players were collectively charged with a whopping 54 felony charges, most of which went to Telfort and Smith. Had they been charged at the time the Fulmer Cup season ended, they would have easily overtaken Alcorn State for the title.

Because the crime was committed during the Fulmer Cup season but the charges not awarded until after, Alcorn State gets to keep their title, and Florida is retroactively awarded a Special Achievement award for the 2017 offseason.

Meyer didn't have 40 felonies while he was here - not anywhere even in the ballpark of that number. As far as actual hauled to jail arrests I doubt he even had 40 misdemeanor arrests.

Pardon me, you are correct. I had the wrong number of arrests . It was only 31 arrests( could have been more though, as0 well as far more serious)

https://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/07/...y-arrested-at-florida-in-the-meyer-years.html

Spitting on a man and whipping out an AK-47 and spraying bullets around but get charged with marijuana possession and battery and assault. How about reckless endangerment if not ADW?

For his short time here Mac probably had the craziest stuff that was out there. A few really bad arrests and the rape accusations against Callaway. A player actually put a gun to his girlfriend's head. They didnt get the media play as much under Mac because we weren't a top ranked team then.

The next incident detailed in the report is the May 2018 incident on the UF campus. According to the report, Zachery told police some football players noticed him on campus and started throwing rocks at his car, chased him with pots and pans and what he believed was an AR-15. (According to a witness video and a report from University of Florida Police obtained by First Coast News, Kadarius Toney was using an airsoft gun with a black-painted tip designed to look like a real gun. A second football player was also carrying an assault-style airsoft gun, according to university police.)

The report said Zachery told police he had a good relationship with tight end C’yontai Lewis and another University of Florida football player. Zachery told police he would give them discounts on rental cars at Enterprise, according to the report. In the initial report obtained by First Coast News, Lewis was the only football player to tell police Zachery bet on football games. Lewis told police the two had a good relationship until the Gators started losing.

On July 4, wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland was knocked out by a friend of Zachery near the Rain Night club in Gainesville, according to the report. Zachery refused to tell GPD who hit Cleveland and denied being there during the incident. “He stated Cleveland was knocked out badly, but did not know if Cleveland needed medical attention,” Zachery told police in the report.

Zachery told police, according to the report, that he feared his life was in danger. He said he had been receiving threatening phone calls and text messages and believed people were trying to lure him to the football players.

Zachery also told police one of the football players told him “there is money behind this,” which Zachery took to mean there was a price on his head. Zachery made other allegations to police, including that same football player was a member of the Bloods, though the conflict had nothing to do with the player’s alleged gang affiliation.

We must be the only D1 program where our football players are getting their butts kicked by local idiots.

Ok so let’s count the number of terribly problematic things in this report...

1. Our players are hanging out with known gamblers who are betting on UF games.

2. Our players are accepting discounts on goods and services (rental cars).

3. Our players are getting into fist fights and knocked out.

4. Our players have gang affiliations and are putting out contracts on people.

Great...July 31...

And we are probably the only school in the SEC where something might actually be done about that.

It also sounds like Toney was riding around with a real AR-15 or another type of rifle. While legal that is not very bright.

Its not against the law to lie to police.
Really don't help your case though.
#justsayin

You can refuse to talk, and in almost any case you should lean on that right.
You don't have a right to lie to the cops. Could find yourself in 'obstruction of justice' land.

Not sure if serious? If you lie to the police you can be charged with Obstruction, False Information to an Officer, False statements to law enforcement. Just to name a few charges.
