Udonis Haslem

It’s just astonishing that he spent his entire NBA career with one team…that seems impossible…

Testament to hard work and dedication…and he must be one amazing human being for that organization to value keeping him around all these years…

He achieved ultimate success for a professional athlete. Glad he is a Gator…

Yep. Nobody stays with 1 team their entire career anymore. Haslem is probably one of the last few guys that have done that.

The story of him making the team the first time is pretty cool.
He played over seas for a couple of years. Then Pat Riley got the HC job for the Heat. He had one roster spot available and had a tryout and Haslem attended. They were going though some stuff when Riley said to huddle up. As they were all walking toward the coach, Riley tossed the ball aside and Haslem went sprinting toward the ball and dived for it. Riley asked "why did you do that?" To which Haslem replied "You didn't blow the whistle, coach." Riley knew he had a basketball player.
