Two spotting: I’ve heard this mentioned on several of BN interviews. Which I think I have listened to everyone. I had never heard of this, but it sounds genius. Im sure it has been around (Alabama is supposedly where he got it from). Basically you build up a huge walk on program (35-40 players), which then allows you to run two full scrimmages at a time. The amazing part is your players who you have spent so much time recruiting then come in and get reps every practice every year, constantly. You are probably doubling the amount of their reps in a 4 year window, talk about development!!! This is so big for a players development, no wonder those AL guys are ready to step right in and roll when someone goes down.
Side note: there is about an 1.5 hr interview he does like going into his second year at UL which is by far the most comprehensive and the best.
