Still wondering why Kyle Trask didn’t respond to your kindergarten antics?

Ever seen a TV commercial for a Ferrari?

The best never advertise. They let their game do the talking for them.

Have fun awarding yourself that “best team in Florida” trophy.

And a big F you to Mike White's brother at UCF.
UCF fans haven't shown up on this board since they got a beatdown from LSU.

Can UCF still award itself a self-proclaimed Natty after the loss to Tulsa?

I mean they do have one Power 5 win (against Ga Tech. ) which seems to meet their minimum standards for a self-Natty.

Asking for a friend.

The kid put himself in a bad spot. His options were to basically say "I was wrong, we suck" or "we still the best". He chose option #2, but Option #1 wasn't really an option, not if he wants to lead his team, so he was kind of stuck. His choices were to look like an idiot or lose the locker room. He chose to look like an idiot, and I respect that a little.

I think, if he is wise, he will now keep his head down and let people forget about it.

Got this from al.com:

UCF, after all the pomp and circumstance, is a national champion.

According to the 2018 record book released last week, the Knights are listed - with Alabama as a team that finished the season No. 1.

UCF, which finished 13-0 last season with a win over Auburn in the Peach Bowl, finished atop the Colley-Matrix, one of the computer rankings recognized by the NCAA.

The NCAA, per The Orlando Sentinel, recognizes the teams that finish atop major polls, including the Colley-Matrix.

So their national championship in 2018 is just as valid as the one Georgia claims from 1942, as both are based on minor polls.

Option 3: humility

“I was wrong and I’m a dumb c*nt. Florida and Miami are ranked top 10 so clearly one of them is the best team in Florida.”

So we all agree that both of these claimed championships are without merit?

The worst claimed championship ever award has to go to Alabama. In 1941 Alabama got shutout by both Mississippi State and Vanderbilt. They finished 3rd in the SEC and ranked 20th in the AP at the end of the regular season. Four teams finished the regular season undefeated and 3 won their bowls and remained undefeated. Alabama was not crowned champions of anything at the time. Forty two years later in 1983 the Alabama sports information director started inventing past titles. He found that a guy named Deke Houlgate made his own rankings from 1929 to 1958 and had proclaimed the Tide national champions in 1941.

There you have it. According to Alabama they are now the national champions of 1941. Deke said so.

In today's social media, if you don't embrace option 2, by default you are saying option 1. But, no biggie.

Not sure if it remains so, but just a few years ago,:
Tulsa was the smallest (lowest enrollment) in the NCAA D1.
UCF just got their azzes handed to them by the midgets... :D :D :D

Eh...cut the kid some slack. We’d expect our QB to have moxie too, so can’t fault him there.

Not defending UCF, but there was an offensive targeting call against a UCF receiver (with the ball) in that game that may have been the worst call in the history modern American sports.

I didn't see that call, so I can't judge it, but as a general statement targeting has to go both ways, otherwise the offense can headhunt the defense with impunity.

I used to say that the Bama claimed over 100 national titles because the Birmingham News named them champions every year in a completely neutral unbiased poll, but then they started actually winning the title like every other year so the joke didn't seem as funny any more. But suffice to say, I get where you are coming from.
