The coaches were slammed up tight yesterday. They did not get off the field yesterday until 6:55 PM and went straight into the coaches' clinic. The players I spoke with were pretty excited because they were in full pads, unlike the first four days, and we're ready to hit. This was the day where you are supposed to "hit" & "wrap" up, but we know how that goes this time of the year.
There is no denying it, and I will not make a big deal from this so-called QB competition. If it is not AR15, I will be shocked and not to mention the team believes in him. Not saying they don't believe in Miller, but you get my point. So far, with both, it has been hit or misses.
I can't keep talking about the same 7 OL – at this point, we all know who they are. I know that Stapleton/Sale combo is excited about what this group can do long term.
As I mentioned this morning in a thread, Kamar Wilson is out and has been for a bit with a hamstring. It appears he will be out another 8 or so days. N. Wright is still not 100%, I was told.
Younger guys on defense who continue to impress or have done a few things to impress Wingo, Borders, T. Sapp, D. Black, J. Williams are physically looking good…
Starting around 10am today I will be out the rest of the day - taking my father for a minor surgery - nothing major, but before anyone posts asking where I am now you know. Thanks! If you have questions please ask and I will do my best to answer them by the end of the day...
