For those of you with TMJ this morning from the gnashing of teeth yesterday and those calling for heads, let me share the good, bad and the ugly from my 54 years as a Gator.

It´s great to be a Gator...but it ain´t easy. Forgive me if I´m a little off on scores, names and dates.

I was there when Danny brought us back beating Peyton´s TN...one of the greatest victories...the sky opened up as the game ended pouring down on the swamp. I was there when we crushed GA in Athens when the Gator Bowl was under construction. I was there for James Jones´s miraculous one handed TD catch to beat Miami.

For you SOS worshipers, I was there for the choke at Doak. I was at Zook´s first game in Miami when UF transfer Brock Berlin ate us alive in the 2nd half. I was there at TN when they beat us 45-3 and I was there when Hershel beat us 44-0. As a youngster I sat in shock watching Lindsey Scott run 94 yards.

Think how Ole Miss felt this year after twice blowing big half time leads...think how GA feels this morning after yesterday´s humiliation. Think how Notre Dame fans feel this am after losing to Duke. Think how FSU fans felt after being thrashed a week ago by Louisville. Think how LSU fans this am.

These things happen. After being booed off the field at half, TN was a totally different team...so were we. Our O line collapsed under ferocious pressure....you can´t blame Appleby or the play calling...nothing worked. Dobbs was a man with a mission. Our secondary collapsed...their receivers were WIDE open..a total breakdown in coverage. Calloway caught 3 or 4 punts inside our 10 yard line...TN had overwhelming field advantage the entire game.

And let´s not forget, if not for a lot of luck, this winning streak would have ended 2 years ago or last year...

So f*ck it...hopefully we learn from this...regroup...TN has a tough road ahead...the East looks weak..LSU lost to hapless Auburn...it ain´t over.
