Thoughts about Herm Edwards?

I wrote him off because he was old and coached forever in the NFL. I didn't think he'd have what it takes to recruit well, and I think that's more important that anything else.

Well, he beat #15 MSU last night, which is great. I should have went to that game instead of watching Mullen show his true colors.

So is Edwards the real deal? Should we have gotten him or are people still drinking the "Relentless Effort" coolaid Dan's Mullen is selling?

He’s pretty negative on Mullen, that’s apparent. I thought Herm Edwards would be a total disaster, because he seems crazy and every piece of football knowledge I’ve ever heard him speak is some tired cliche, but he legitimately wants to win and his team played with fire last night. Not like the slug show we saw last night. I bet Edwards would throw out about half of our roster. But I’d still much rather have Mullen.

Zoni is the one who was never going to be happy with anyone other than Norvell.

And as for Michigan Sr, they are highly overrated. Barely squeaked past Utah St last week. That is not a good Michigan St team right now

And as for Michigan Sr, they are highly overrated. Barely squeaked past Utah St last week. That is not a good Michigan St team right now

Norvell...the guy who passes 3 times with 4 yards to go and over 2 minutes on the clock. All while having a RB who is averaging 16.3 yards per carry and over 200 yards rushing.

Do I doubt Norvell's ability? No...but he is no God and has done nothing that Dan could do.

I watched the ASU game on TV, they were flying around the field, not just a few players but everyone
I was critical of the hiring of Herm, but he has them playing with passion
In the end all that matters are the W’s
