Not really a scandal, from my experience dealing with federal employees pre covid was that much of the time, they are sitting around the office doing nothing anyways. Now, they just get to sit at home and do it.Does ANYONE agree with this?

The scandal part is that these are a bunch of democrats getting paid to help one political party(as we see in investigations, leaks, whistle blowers, etc) and they have these cushy, high paying jobs that us tax payers are supporting. I remember when he did this, the dems were outraged. It made firing them easier in that they would be held to similar standards as any other worker. Can't remember the exact details, but under the previous plan, it was almost impossible to fire most federal workers, they were essentially tenured. Trump changed the rules so their performance dictated if they kept their job or not.
