I hope this lady sues the city for every dime they've got. The lady who stood above her was protecting her mouth and chin because her mask didn't cover her nose. Oh, and notice all those cheerleaders NOT wearing masks.

She's been charged with criminal trespassing. She apparently had asthma and Ohio's mask mandate apparently says you don't have to wear a mask if you have asthma.

The security guard just walked up and grabbed her hand and tried to throw her in handcuffs. She wasn't warned and that would have been when she could have explained she had asthma. Worst part, when he tased her, her son was shocked because he was touching her while on a metal seat.

Unless he was an actual cop, hes in deep dodo. He might be anyway. Obviously he should have calmly walked up to her and informed her that she was supposed to be wearing a mask. Then she would have explained why wasn't. That would have likely been the end of it.

BTW I mentioned this in the other thread, but if this keeps going like this, how hard is it to see a scenario where just a year from now, vaccines are mandated, and this guy is going among the crowd and asking to see verification that you have taken the vaccine. The woman says she has not, he then grabs her, pins her down, tases her and a 'doctor' runs up and forcibly gives her a vaccine, then picks her up and handcuffs her and she's arrested.

Before you say that will never happen, if we had said in 2019 that the above video would have happened, no one would have believed it.

I can agree the law is asinine as is placing someone who is outside under arrest for not wearing a mask. She’s clearly sitting among people that appear to be family and/or people voluntarily sitting with her. The cop not adjusting his own mask, the cop running up to the situation maskless, and all those cheerleaders standing around without masks... it’s all foul.

However, I’d like to see how all this led up to an arrest. Her resisting arrest is no different than what many of us say when we say “comply with the cops and bad things won’t happen.” If she was asked to leave she should have gotten up, documented via video, and shown it to both of those cops’ supervisor. On her way out she could have captured that other Officer “breaking the law” that didn’t have a mask. There isn’t a whole lot of anyone doing the right thing in that video other than the person picking up the small kid and removing him from the situation.

Again, stupid ass law but consistency with police interaction has to be applied otherwise people start thinking it’s ok to escalate every disagreement with law enforcement over laws they don’t like.
