While increased exposure has been good for the sport, little things tend to fall by the wayside.
For example, I love the SEC Network, but one of the consequences is they have usurped all rebroadcasting rights for games. One of my favorite things to do was watch Breakfast with the Gators the morning after a game. It was a different experience with the homer announcers, and the cheesy ads during commercial breaks. You could always count on the game being shown at the same time every Sunday morning, and it would lead right into the coach's show. SECN has taken that away, leaving us with a rebroadcast whenever the hell they feel like showing it, with the same milquetoast announcing crew used in the original broadcast. It's a minor thing, but definitely something that enhanced my enjoyment of Florida football, and is now gone.
