sit if they were in the playoff? Of course not, and as far as I know, nobody is from the 4 teams. But, given the level of competition is higher, wouldn’t the chance of injury be greater? So basically these guys really don’t give a shit about their team but, want individual glory or money. I’d play, no matter what the Bowl game was. Take out an insurance policy players or maybe the NCAA should.

These bowls are meaningless. Who won the peach bowl last year, capital one bowl, etc... The only purpose is to generate gate and tv money for everybody except the players. it’s easy to say you’d play when you don’t have anything at risk. If you had a winning lottery ticket waiting for you in three months but the condition was you had to stay healthy, you’d go play in a college football game for free?

I would also but I can see their view on it since they aren't in the playoff. That O lineman who is a borderline draft pick as it is has no excuse for doing it imo. Is he doing it so he isn't shown getting beat by Polite etc.?

No one hates Michigan like me. But in fairness the OL missed the last two games with injury. He isn’t healthy to begin with.

Hell yes they should sit, their TE cost himself millions in that game with FSU a couple years back. Nothing to gain by playing

And I for one am glad as hell Bush is sitting

The fans say he is good to go. Just don't see why a guy that is a 6th/7th rounder if he is lucky would do that.

I am glad our guys aren't pulling the crap and Polite and a few of them are actually top picks. I wouldn't blame the 1st and 2nd rounders for doing it however.

We can all say what we would do if it isn't our money involved.

Insurance policies won't cover all of your potential networth....and who is paying these insurance policies. It's surly not the school.

And foster their 'entitlement' attitudes even more???
Just say no... o_O

This shows the difference between our 'team' and their group of players imo.

So I'm fine with however many of them want to bail out on their school, coach, and teammates.

Remember, nobody else has the 'Gator Standard' to live up too.... ;)

A coach bails on his "team" every year. I mean our very own Dan Mullen didn't coach MSU in their bowl game. Just one example.

Anyway, like I said. We can all say what we would do...on somebody else's career, money, etc.

There's what you say you'll do.
And then there's what you actually do when the time comes... o_O

None of the Sr's opted out of the bowl to get ready for the NFL combine.
The one ED Jr that's announced did not opt out of the bowl game.
None of the possible early departure Jr's and rsJr's opted out either.
That is proof positive that it's a 'TEAM' that has chosen to embrace the 'Gator Standard.'

While I would not 'hate' on any that did opt out, I'm really proud of them, that they have not chosen to 'duck and run' instead of playing... :)

Is Grier on the sideline in uniform? I saw a pic that looked like it, but maybe from an old game. Now that I would not get. If you’re not going to play, don’t put on a uniform. If you’re going to sit out just tell the guys Godspeed and keep it moving.

In an 8 team playoff this Michigan team would have been in as an at-large. Think about that...

If you are a top 10 pick....dont play. Anyone else should because your stock might go up. You could go from 3rd to 2nd if the right scout is watching. You could gain millions

This day in age with combines and pro days, Bowl games rarely move your stock up much.

I mean Auburn looked like world beaters yesterday. Did anybody rise on the draft board? Did anybody fall down the board from Purdue?

I think some did.
