Quality goes down of basketball every year with more guys non NBA ready but going pro to go get paid in Europe (IMO right decision by player -if a 2nd rounder best case no reason to return for a Jr or Sr season). Time to get paid during peak earning years
BUT leaves college ball with a further diluted talent pool
Think all of this hurts the blue bloods most as parity reigns supreme and upper classmen usually more productive than 90% of 5-star Freshmen
One and done rule has bastardized amateurism . If one and done rule removed then Leads me think the Wichita St model will be best for college ball - 10-11 4 year guys with little pro potential even in Europe and then hope to develop a few guys into European lifers (baker and van fleet)
