I do believe a sizable portion of the left does indeed think Hillary is about to be named President....if the Senate doesn't stop it.

Not elected, I believe most dems think when Trump is impeached, hillary will be named president.
And pelosi is going no where. If you want to find out why, research her family and its ties to the political power structure in California. You will find some very interesting overlaps with current state government.
Naw, Clinton is a joke to the bulk of the dem voters. Also the youth vote is definitely more progressive than anything else which shows you the direction this Country is headed: Progressivism.
The youth vote always skews toward socialism. As Winston Churchill famously said "If you're young and not a liberal, you have no heart. If you're old and not a conservative, you have no brain".

Hugo Sanders knows his Marxist economic plans have never worked. Bernie believes he is the one anointed to make them work.
I am more cynical, I think he is being paid handsomely to push these views by globalists who hate America even more than the libs here.
