He saw what Harris was doing and knows Grier is out for half of next year. He sees he has a real chance to play

And given the state of Bama's QB situation the last few years, and the fact that Nuss claims a QB who can't start on his own damn high school team has 'looked better than most 5 stars he's seen' I'm not getting excited about anybody he wants.

I'm sure he's a legit talent and hope we get the flip - certainly need a QB. Grier is out 1/2 the season and Treon (unless he bleeds orange and blue) would look tat transferring if he wants to start somewhere. I'd support Treon leaving - it makes sense from his standpoint but without a legit blue chip QB incoming early - next year will start out tough.

That's my thought.

In the last 15 years of LSU being a major power, they have produced Jamarcus Russell and Matt Flynn as their highlight QBs.

That is freaking abysmal.

If you look at who is winning, your QB must be mobile. If Franks isn't mobile he needs to stay at LSU

Never have been. It is the darnest thing man. Different teams under different coaches, it just doesn't matter, we never play good in the noon slot.
