I had the great experience of riding with Coach to a Gator Gathering right after he was hired. He was direct, blunt, and the most "what you see is what you get" guy I have ever met, I thank you for making Gator football relevant and fun and for bringing respect and CHAMPIONSHIPS to Gainesville. You have always been a Gator first and the only coach whose weekly show was a never miss listen(radio). I met his father in New Orleans and then knew where the grit came from, the DNA. We love you Coach and you will always be THE OLE GATOR BALL COACH. May God Bless your retirement and you can now enjoy those grandchildren and find the fairway every time.
