Enactment of this legislation would create an option for people to transact business in sound money, set the stage to undermine the Federal Reserve’s monopoly on money and create a viable alternative to a central bank digital currency (CBDC).

Okay, don't laugh at me. I am going to embarrassingly say I haven't a clue about digital currency and the set-stage of world banking and such. But this sounds solid, and living in Texas, I'm going to investigate what this is all about.

Digital currency is the gateway to the United States enacting a Social Credit Score. If they can move us to a digital currency, then the US government has total control over everyone's finances. Then they will limit your access to your own money based on whether or not you are behaving in a manner they like. If you say something mean about the government on a message board like this, then you can't access your funds for X number of days.

I would like to think that even the sheep can see how that's a bad idea, but they may be too far gone.

I agree with everything you have said here. This type of thing may work because the currency holder may redeem gold. You just have to worry that bad people get their hands on it and whittle it away to a digiatl token with no backing and no physical item of value that can be redeemed

I recommend you invest your worthless dollars into fruit trees and chickens. People will probably always like to eat food.

Backed by gold is why it will never be supported. That's the whole point, there can be no support for it. That way if the government decides that you lose it, you have no recourse.

This will be pitched to sheep as being a MASSIVE CONVENIENCE! Get your funds deposited in your bank account every Friday when you get paid INSTANTLY! Send money to your friends and family INSTANTLY! And to be fair, that WILL be wonderfully convenient.

But it also means the US government can take those funds just as instantly.

Again, would love to think the sheep will finally wake up at having their own money stolen from them, but the same sheep happily injected an unapproved substance into their arms in 2020 cause they believed it would save them from the seasonal flu. Hell some here still are to this day.

As long as the digital currency is NOT controlled by the Federal Government. Biden and the Dems are pushing hard for a digital currency because once the Feds control your $, game over. You think China's social point system is bad, wait until you see what the Dems will do to anyone who disagrees with them or their policies. Think Trudeau seizing the truckers bank accounts in Canada.

They will eventually push to outlaw that as well. @Uniformed_ReRe remember this for later.

One day you guys will wake up. May not be till they are dragging you to the gulag, but you WILL wake up.
I agree they could outlaw homesteading. It will make them actually come to my home and take it from me though. I am hopeful that they may settle for the population centers, and leave us alone. Maybe easier for them to just let us live out our days turning the dirt and wait for us to die off. At the very least, we will be the last to go, and hardest to take down.

Having had a recent health scare and last years moderately successful but disappointing garden, I will be buying Amish produce and canning. Long term storage IMHO can mitigate such problems and bulk buying helps with inflation.

I recently got a box of spaghetti squash for $5. Twelve fruits for $ .42. Compare to the best priced store Aldi @ 1.15/lb. A similar fruit would cost $3-4.

My problem will be the meds I now need.

The Amish have got it figured out. They are probably uneffected by all the cultural conflict engufing the culture. In terms of the disappointing garden...have you ever heard of Paul Goutchi ( not sure on the last name spelling ). He has a documentary on what he calls the return to eden garden. you should check it out.

:oops::oops::oops:
How do I register my garden with the US government?

To learn more about People's Garden or to register one, visit the People's Garden webpage at usda.gov/Peoples-Garden. The location and information on each garden will be displayed on a map. USDA will send a “People's Garden” sign to each garden and invite continued engagement through photos and information sharing

What happens if I don t fill out the USDA Census of Agriculture?

NASS will send reminder notices to those who do not respond and may attempt to contact those producers for a personal interview. Response to the Census of Agriculture is required by federal law.

Notice @kalimgoodman @RayGravesGhost and @BSC911 won't touch this thread. Cause the left hasn't given them their talking points yet about CBDC.

When it rolls out, the talking points will be LOOK HOW CONVENIENT it is! Wouldnt surprise me to see them give away $500 in free CBDC to get everyone signed up.

But for now, they have to think critically about the issue and form an opinion on their own. Which is why they have nothing to say, cause they can't think for themselves.
