Honestly I don't see how it would be too much. Bama, UGA, Michigan, and Cincy all played a conference championship game and all hope to be playing what is basically 2 bowl games.

If we didn’t have a “lame duck” coaching staff it wouldn’t be a bad idea but no need to play in it under our current circumstances.
Agree. Let the kids get what they earned. But to extend further would be odd at this point given our situation.

Jimbo pulled out to concentrate on recruiting. I read somewhere that he could possibly have 3 out of the top 4 recruits. Plus all the portal kids he is getting. Why does everyone want to go there when they were 8-4 this year?
I didn't know a coach decides whether or not his team can pull out of a Bowl game just to concentrate on recruiting. Wow! We all learn something new each day.🙄
