Day by day, the malodorous Pants-Shytter-In-Chief loses battle after battle......war after war! NOW, all of these businesses who were stupid as hell to go along with the phantom vaccine mandates (which were never really implemented by Congress) are being forced to walk back their stance. Therefore, they must hire back their workforce members they shoved out the door just months ago. This adminstration has become the stuff 1970s prime-time comedy was made of. There will be lawsuits out the wazoo against all these "woke" corporations who were stupid enough to go along with this charade. You know the old saying......"Get Woke, Go Broke."

My issue with mandates was that they removed natural immunity. Allow for the vaccine or an anti-body test showing you have strong immunity. If you need a booster, great.

They didn't remove it they ignored it. Think critically and ask yourself why that continues to be the case.

Trump doesn't deserve credit for the vaccines or blame that they don't work. His administration does deserve some credit for cutting red tape and allowing development timetables to be compressed. I'm sure any administration would have done the same though.

But the vaccines are a failure. They don't do what they said they would and the safety profile of them all sucks.

Fingers crossed that the Novavax is a better solution.

The way they tried to push the mandates was sneaky and evil. They didn't rely on Congress, they tried to use OSHA (and thereby only going after people with jobs that work with sizeable companies).

I mean it makes perfect sense if you think OSHA has the right to make us all wear steel toed shoes and hard hats sitting on our couch.

It won't work, there's already a stay in place.

I don't know for sure...I'm really suspicious about the way theses vaccines have been handled, the way that they're pushing initiatives that benefit Big Pharma over public health and the amount of money involved for all. Pfizer has made $35BB in 2021 on these vaccines, that's a ton of scratch for political donations and lobbyists.

And Biden doesn't do much outside of shitting his pants and getting his diaper changed, it's the swampy people around him that would have executed it.

Some hospital systems had to remove it as an exemption.

I will strongly disagree both that: a) Trump used his will to get them approved after seeing the failure of the CDC to get testing out and b) they are highly effective against hospitalization and death.

What candidly, stuns me, is why not give Trump the credit he rightly deserves? While the Biden administration has done an excellent job in getting the current vaccines widely available, moving the Federal government is very hard.

Why natural immunity is not considered does raise questions as you note. People should be able to have an antibody test, but conversely, if their antibodies are below a thresh hold, they should get a boost.

My hope is that Novavax is safe and effective and we can pair with other vaccines and natural immunity to put us past this.

Medically, we've been past it for over a year now. The worry now is the shots themselves.

Politically, it's still being used and likely will be for years to come.

We have a government worksite here called Pantex. They were adamant about the vaccine mandate and setting dates to have the vax or get terminated. Quite a few folks didn't want to take the vax but didn't want to lose their job, so they got the jab. Now the law says the mandate is not enforceable. Now these folks have been poked for nothing. That's a horrible reality. Somebody needs to be held accountable. SOMEDAY!!!
