I can barely hear what was said with my crappy speakers but if he did say that imagine Saban his 1st year at Bama and an AP media press conference reporter doing that. They would be lucky if he only publicly dressed them down and didn't yank their pass.

Saban has dropped the hammer on media types on many occasions. Probably not Napier's style.
I guess the guy was using cuss words when he said it also like he was talking amongst buddies at the bar. Just a really bad look doing that while waiting for the coach at the university. Hopefully Napier at least takes a dig at him the next press conference when he asks a question.
This isn’t the first time Mark Long has done stuff like this. He openly bashed Rick Wells once as well and there have been some other things. Not sure he is a real professional guy.
Maybe not Napier's style, but it needs to be Stricklin's style since he is the AD, he made the hire, and this is happening under his roof, so to speak.
If you invite someone to dinner at your home and they start trashing the meal you spent 2 hours on.....you're gonna rethink about giving any future invitations.
Journalists are gonna write whatever they want, but I would not put up with disrespectful behavior when they walk through my doors.
Saban can do whatever he wants because he's got the hardware to back him up. He's basically untouchable.
Napier could easily call them out like Saban does and I would expect him to say something to this guy when he gets a chance.
