But there are those who think he has won because of what Fuentes built and left him.

A lot of his players are making plays all over the field. Ferguson is putting up bigger stats compared to Lynch. Darrell Henderson just ran for 1,000 plus yards. Patrick Taylor is averaging 5 plus yards a carry. Tony Pollard is a great receiver out of the backfield plus averages 5 yards per carry. With the exception of Doroland Dorcues, all of the Fuente recruited RB's transferred... Jarvis Cooper and Jemarius Henderson.

Defense is no different than when Fuente was there...with Barry Odom as DC. Many young guys like Austin Hall, TJ Carter, O'Bryan Goodson, etc are keeping the defense in games.

Special team recruits are doing well also. Kicker Riley Patterson has done well and Tony Pollard returned his 4th kickoff yesterday. Both Norvell recruits.

I think it's unfair for him to be classed by Fuente doing all the work when he has actually done better than Fuente plus he is the brains behind the blueprint of offense ran at Memphis and runs at VT.

Regardless UF and UT both passed on him and he will move on and be successful somewhere or stay at Memphis and have them on a Boise State level.

Currie and the big money A-H's are too arrogant to take a coach from Memphis or Vandy. Then to even consider Schaino let alone offer the job to him shows just how unfit the new A/D Currie is for the job.


Been a HUGE uproar and more anger over the potential hire of Greg Schiano than anything I can recall as a UT fan.

I wouldn't have thought Currie could out FUBAR his predecessors - Hamilton and Hart. But I was wrong.

I just read again he is blacklisted at UF, UT and Ole Miss after reading earlier some things came up when someone tried to clear him with the SEC. very curious about this. Seems weird he isn’t getting a ton of looks from anyone
