Newsom Celebrates EPA’s Decision to Grant California a Waiver to Ban Diesel Trucks​

Governor Gavin Newsom (D) celebrated the EPA’s decision to grant California a waiver to ban diesel trucks.

Last year it was reported the Marxists on the California Air Resources Board were looking to ban all gas and diesel trucks.

The board boasted about being the first to adopt a rule requiring truck manufacturers to transition from diesel to electric beginning in 2024.

As of this second there isn't an electric semi with a range of over 350 miles. Then it needs 2.5 to three hours to get 70-80 percent charge.

A diesel semi has a 2000 mile range and takes maybe 45 minutes to fill up dead ass empty. Things are going to take three times as long to get there. And that's assuming the cargo is non perishable.

My old company's semi trucks took 7 minutes to fill up dead ass empty.

I think they have done something to the pumps. I could fill my car up in less than 5 when I was 16 and now it takes my dinky car ten for an 11 gal tank.

I think it happened when they went 100% to unleaded. The nozzle is also smaller. The newer cars (back then) had a smaller gas tank intake port so leaded fuel couldn't be pumped into them.
