We have at least 10 solid guys on this roster that have recorded a sub 11 second 100m time. From a "top end" perspective, I would be curious if someone with access could tell us a complete list of names in the "23MPH Club". The only names i have seen are Cormani and J Mike Sturdivant on that list. I think previously Kahleil Jackson was a top speed guy that might have been in the conversation before his injury but cant recall.
Shoutout to 2025 LB signee Myles Johnson who tore his ACL and missed his Junior season of football, came back to play RB and LB his senior year, while also running track and playing basketball. This past weekend he ran a 10.70 to place first in his 100m event (11.15 previous PB), presumably at 210-220lbs.
These are the personal bests of our guys to use this year, some of which are times from their first two years in high school. For instance, Trey Wilson's time was from 2021, two years prior to enrolling. A lot of these guys also skip their senior track seasons to enroll early. If they were to run track now instead of being in spring camp, i would imagine some of those guys in that scenario would pick up a tenth or two.
