Weird that I am currently reading a novel that was written over a decade ago. Wicked Prey. While it is fiction the story is based on ring of thieves and killers hitting political conventions and rallies where dark money is being passed out for exactly what happened there. Millions of dollars in cash that are distributed to mules.
