He simply wasn't playing well. He owned it in a post game interview raving about his teammates picking him up.
Credit to the Rams for winning that game on the toad because Gurley is their best player on offense, and he was a huge net negative when he was in the game. He looked really rattled by the situation and atmosphere. He’s coming back from an injury as well so I’m sure that’s tough. He was terrible though.
I think the Rams will win because I don’t think the Patriots will be able to run on them. And the Rams are similarly versatile on offense to the chiefs, where you have to defend everywhere.
That said. Can never count out Brady and Belicheck. 9 Super Bowls is insane. That’s like 20 percent of the Super Bowls in history. Win or lose I think they are the GOATs.

I think Belichick is going to blow McVay's kind and Brady and Edelman and Gronk will be full on for this one. I think they all know it may be their last go around and after last year, they will leave it all on the field.

I respect the Pats a lot. Their consistent winning in a salary cap era is one of the great accomplishments in sports history. But I don't think this is a vintage Pats team. They won both their playoff games by catching bad defenses off balance and power running at them and with a tricked up defensive game plan. Once KC figured their defense out, they were scoring at will, and I think the Rams have similar firepower. I don't think the Pats will be able to run on the Rams.
Pats winning would never surprise me though.
Just amazing how they get all these versatile players, a lot of them castoffs from other teams and then just figure out a way to use them to beat you. Gronk had the worst season catching the ball of his career, but he has been blocking his ass off in the playoffs and they have been using that to win these games on the ground. It's pretty awesome.
Sustained succeed in any sport is impressive, but to go to 9 superbowls is absurd...

Well the Patriots started their run by shocking the greatest show on turf back 17 years ago. My guess is Tom Brady and Belichick beat the newest offensive genius coaching the Rams.

Um, there would probably be no, Gurley if not FOR THE PLAY OF DONTE FOWLER Jr. who knocked the ball from Brees that led to the O.T. Interception that secured the victory.Michel or Gurley?
Probably not but there would be no Rams in the SB without Gurley this year.
I love what the Patriots have done the last 18 years in a league that is heavily geared towards parity. I am pulling for them to win, as I NEVER pull for a team from California, although I respect the heck out of that young coach Sean McVay. New England does not have one of their all time best teams, IMO, but after last year's loss I think they're on a mission.

Nah... I post on several, mainly ours, but I enjoy this one as well. I was up late last night at the hospital watching my father in law fight for his life, which he's about to lose, and I jumped on a few Rivals forums to get away for a minute.
