That said, having an event with 80,000 people screaming and yelling in close proximity for several hours seems risky. I think Newsom is a hypocritical weasel, but I also think he had to make a tough decision here and probably did the right thing.

Of course. Critical thinkers here have been saying this since March. That's why we say lockdwns kill people, because they do.

And contrary to popular belief, Dr. Fauci and the CDC were not proponents of mass lockdowns (at least not forcing people to shelter in their homes). The lockdown stuff is being driven mostly by politicians.

CA, MI, NY and NJ are 4 states pushing for endless lockdowns.

All have dem governors. One has already been impeached, another is facing a recall vote in March.

All begging Trump for federal bailout for their states. Trump says stuff it.

South Dakota has never locked down and never had mask mandate. The state is doing so well that it has actually RETURNED federal monies.
