If the left wanted to support them, they would start calling them what they are: Americans.
...and to think...just one unifying speech from the President and that street painting you find so offensive wouldn’t be there...a real shame indeed...
Someone made a great point about this: We didn't elect Trump to unify us, we elected Trump to show how we are DIFFERENT.
We aren't unifying with your team, Sad. Your team loved the lockdown, put the sick in nursing homes and handed bricks to protesters and encouraged them to become rioters. Your team wants to destroy America and rebuild it into a third-world country.
We elected Trump to show us who the enemy is, and then to defeat them.

If the mayor wanted to rename a street, she should have named it "I can't breathe", because that was truth. BLM was a movement born from the lie of "hands up don't shoot, where a cop was found not guilty by virtue of the lack of evidence and credible testimony from the investigation of Eric Holder's justice department. I assume he tried hard.
A year later in 2015 and just hours after a cop is gunned down in suburban Houston, a BLM march is ironically going through St. Paul Minn shouting, "pigs in a blanket, fry em like bacon". Nice.
If you libs want to blame anybody for why George Floyd ain't here, you can start with and stop with every dem that runs or ran that city, the mayor, the police chief, the city council, DA Klobachar, AG Ellison and the police union. They had the power to fix "systemic" (I love that new buzzword) problems that had been there for years and to get rid of Darren Chauvin specifically. And they fixed nothing. They are responsible for George Floyd's death.
Joe Biden put his knee on the neck of lots of black men in 1994 when he wrote the crime bill and packed the prisons. Didn't hear Sharpton mention that during his eulogy. And Trump attempted to relieve some of that pressure on the neck by passage of the first step act.
I'm sorry if some of these facts are just too inconvenient to hear.
But listening to some of the phony outrage is quite amusing.

Why don't you show us how smart and correct you are, by writing out a speech like you advocate that the President should have given. Show us all what he should have said that would have unified the peaceful, God fearing, America loving, with the murdering anarchist looters that are currently roaming the streets unfettered....

If chit-heads like Bill Gates and George Soros really believed the SOCIALIST crap that they preach and promote, then they wouldn't be CAPITALIST 100 BILLIONAIRES. They would have instead shared all of their ill-gotten wealth with the workers that they CLAIM to be the champions of....
