Nobody really seems all that concerned, probably cause it is New Mexico. sadgator is not even sure what policy they violated. That said, sadgator is concerned about Maye. sadgator had super high hopes for him coming out of high school. Everytime sadgator thinks he will start to shine, something seems to derail it. sadgator really hopes he puts this one behind him and has a monster year. The talent and opportunity is there for him to be something special.

Sounds like weed to me. Drugs don't bother me, but being stupid enough about it to miss games is a problem. Those three are fairly important players, and it's not like we have a huge margin for error.

I'm a little concerned because these guys are upperclassmen and should know better, but otherwise I don't think it's a big deal (without knowing what the reasons are). Lesson learned for them hopefully, it's got to hurt to not be able to play in the opening game.

Anytime you let your own 'selfish personal bad-habits' interfere with your 'team responsibilities' it's not a 'no-big-deal' thingy imoho.

Anyone who makes excuses for their selfishness are facilitators, and they are a part of the problem for the 'entitled attitudes' of the selfish immature.

The 18 year old military men that lay their lives on the line for the rest of the population NEVER get to use the crappy excuses that the 'entitled chit-head athletes' expect daily. (the 1-2% bad-brats that make the 98-99% responsible young men look bad)

And no, it's not the end of the world, but it is what it is, and lame excuses for their highly inappropriate actions are notwithstanding. I'm not sorry that they are suspended one bit, and on the 3rd strike it should correctly be,,, 'You're Outta Here.'

The UAA handed down the suspensions for violation of their team policy, not Mc.
But IF he has/had input, I'm guessing that he would agree with the suspensions.
